Mark joined Old Pine Community Center as the Executive Director in March 2021. A life-long Philadelphia area resident, he has worked in fundraising, communications, and management roles at several nonprofit organizations in the city focusing on issues including education, food insecurity, housing, and workforce development.
He is passionate about developing programs and services that meet diverse and timely needs while building neighborhood connections and providing meaningful engagement opportunities for the community.
Mark received a bachelor's degree in Film & Television Studies from The Pennsylvania State University and a master's degree in Nonprofit Management from The New School in New York City. He also completed the Leading For Change Fellowship Program at Drexel University's Lebow College of Business. When not working, he enjoys going to the movies, playing with dogs, and watching and playing sports.
